Last minute decision pays off
Stopped off en route to Brighton, looking for some warm food at no notice, and found Guiseppe at Mamma Mia.
Delightful ambience, room decorated with lots of tempting Italian treats (biscuits, pastries ...). I had the Risotto Marinara and my other half had the Vellutata di peace. The risotto was the best I have enjoyed for ages, so much so we bought a box of the arborio rice they use. Soup was equally delicious, and a purchase of several boxes of patties and packets of biscotti completed a very happy interlude.

Great service and brilliant food. Wish we could have stayed for another bottle of wine but had to move on. Don't miss out on this gem.

Well worth a visit
Just had a fantastic meal. Food was absolutely brilliant, staff good helpful and very friendly.
The seafood risotto was amazing
We have visited Steyning several times can’t believe we’ve never eating here!

Twice in one day!
Popped in for coffee and cake after a long walk and returned in the evening for a meal as it was so inviting and top service. Busy little place with a good choice, usual Italian menu items but with a few unusual ones as well.

Delicious food Fabulous waiter 6 stars
We were able book a table online at 1.15pm to eat dinner at 7.30pm. This reservation was confirmed by email. We received a warm welcome when we arrived. The waiter was running 9 tables and there was apparently two chefs in the kitchen, but the service was efficient and relaxed. We ordered the garlic mushrooms to start along with the fried zucchini. Both dishes were divine. We followed with a penne al pollo from the specials board and a portion of tortellini. The portions were extremely generous. Much as we would liked to have a pudding we just couldn’t manage it. Great value for money.

Great food - lovely staff
I had booked a week in advance but had to change the number of guests twice and the time of eating twice - they were very accommodating! My wife and I had mazing pasta and our friends had great pizzas too.

Would recommend
We went here when we stayed in Steyning after a day of walking the South Downs Way. I had the carbonara and my boyfriend had the mushroom risotto. He said it was the best risotto he had had in forever! Very friendly service and good portion sizes. The presentation was also really nice and made the meal out feel more special.
